CANTASOLE EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL TASTING
Step into our world and experience the olive garden in Puglia
Immerse yourself in the heritage of olive oil and learn about extra virgin olive oil tasting in the charming setting of our olive garden. We will welcome you at our estate called Cantasole, where we will explore our Masseria, a fortified farmhouse from the 13th century. We will then discover our diverse farm together, visiting picturesque olive trees planted 200 years ago as well as much more recent areas of our farm. We will learn all about olive tree cultivation and olive oil production.
We will engage our senses in an enlightening tasting session led by Arianna, an expert EVOO sommelier, and learn to distinguish the subtle nuances of various olive oil varieties, from the robust and peppery to the smooth and fruity. We will discover together the organoleptic qualities of 4 different extra virgin olive oils.
To end our experience, we will share a local bottle of wine from our favorite selection to accompany an aperitivo with typical dishes from Salento, for a perfect combination of historical authenticity and contemporary elegance.
